Climate Ready Infrastructure Service (CRIS) is a new program aimed at supporting local government infrastructure projects. Its goal is to support infrastructure owners and decision-makers in developing projects that build resilience and contribute to Canada's path to net-zero emissions.
Administered by the Canadian Urban Institute and funded by the Government of Canada, the initiative connects local governments with climate experts, offering free access to specialized knowledge that facilitates the integration of climate resilience and carbon emissions reductions in a range of public infrastructure projects, including water systems, transportation, and buildings.
