We are currently seeking individuals who would be interested in paid marking opportunities for the Municipal Law Program (MLP), which is comprised of four courses:
- Unit 1: Introduction to Municipal Law
- Unit 2: Municipal Torts
- Unit 3: Municipal Contracts
- Unit 4: Municipal Land-Related Law
Qualifications
Course markers are responsible for grading and providing feedback on students’ written assignments. They do not teach classes. Marker qualifications are as follows:
- A minimum of five years’ recent working and/or consulting experience related to the subject being marked
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to provide specific, constructive feedback on written assignments
- Experience with grading adult-learner assignments or exams is an asset

Applications will be reviewed following the application deadline, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted by a member of the AMCTO team by June 17, 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a marking exercise and successful candidates will be required to participate in training provided by AMCTO.
