The Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2022-2023 AMCTO Awards program. Award recipients were honoured during the 2023 AMCTO Conference Awards Gala Dinner that took place in-person at the Niagara Fallsview Resort & Casino on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023. Joined by family and friends and their municipal peers, participants were recognized for their outstanding achievements.
“This year we are excited to celebrate our 85th anniversary and our members and municipal professionals who have supported us in cultivating municipal excellence over the years," said AMCTO Executive Director, David Arbuckle. "The Awards Gala Dinner is our chance to recognize those who have helped to shape our Association, the sector, and the municipal profession in a positive way. This year's award recipients' dedication to improving their own personal professional development through education, through their zone activities, and by giving back to their communities through the development of innovative projects is inspiring and raises the bar for municipal excellence in Ontario."
In addition to recognition at the AMCTO Awards Gala Dinner, 2023 award recipients will also be recognized in the upcoming edition of the AMCTO Municipal Monitor. Recipients' municipal councils are encouraged to share this announcement and celebrate the successes of their staff.
