Today is #GivingTuesday — an annual tradition and day to celebrate and encourage global charitable giving. As an Association, we are proud to participate in Giving Tuesday each year by announcing and giving to our selected conference charities of choice. For the upcoming 2025 event, we are proud to support Noah’s House and Street Help based in Windsor, Ontario.
Noah's House

Noah's House is a dedicated mental health charity providing accessible support for young people in the local community. Founded in 2018 after the tragic loss of Noah Butcher-Hagell to mental illness, the organization aims to ensure that no young person has to struggle alone. Through free and affordable counselling and programs, Noah's House empowers youth to break free from the chains of mental illness.
Relying solely on community funding, the charity operates a safe, inclusive youth centre offering compassionate, non-clinical support. Their vision is to create a world where all young people have access to the mental health support they need. Guided by values of transparency, accountability, and inclusivity, Noah's House amplifies youth voices and fosters a supportive environment where mental well-being comes first.
Street Help

Street Help is a vital resource for individuals experiencing homelessness in Windsor. Celebrating 25 years of service, the organization remains dedicated to providing sanctuary and dignity to those in need. What began as a volunteer-led initiative by individuals who had experienced homelessness firsthand has grown into a trusted organization with seven staff members and a team of volunteers delivering essential services including daily meals and outreach to those unable to visit their centre.
Over the years, Street Help has become a model of giving and inclusion, showing how shared values of understanding and generosity can transform lives. The organization takes pride in its daily contributions to Windsor, strengthening the community by creating opportunities and fostering hope for those most in need. As it looks to the future, Street Help remains committed to its vision of a more compassionate and supportive city for all.
"Giving back to our communities is very important to AMCTO members and the Association. On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, I am proud to announce our 2025 conference charities of choice on this Giving Tuesday: Noah's House and Street Help."
- Paul Shipway, AMCTO President
Donations will be made throughout 2025 on behalf of our conference and Forum speakers and we also encourage you, our members, to give and support these organizations who are providing essential services in the Zone 1 region.
