After joining the Baker Tilly KDN's predecessor firm as a co-op student in 1995, Joanna was brought in as a full-time employee in 1998. Becoming partner in 2010, Joanna specializes in performing audits for public sector clients, including municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, Indigenous communities and school boards. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Joanna is an active member of the Baker Tilly Canada Public Sector Accounting Board working group and chair of the Baker Tilly Canada Non-Profit Committee.
Joanna has always enjoyed working with and helping others, which was a major factor in her decision to pursue an accounting career. Today, she attributes her success to her client service, friendly attitude, and extensive knowledge of the public sector.
