Alex is an associate lawyer at Barriston LLP with experience in corporate and municipal law. He earned his law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. Before attending law school, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Laurentian University.
During his articling period and following his call to the bar in 2023, Alex has worked closely on many municipal files including land usage and ownership disputes concerning highways and various municipal lands, and new land developments. Alex has gained experience reviewing and drafting easement agreements, subdivision and developer agreements, and various municipal services agreements. Alex has also been highly involved in several corporate law matters and maintains experience reviewing and preparing corporate purchase and sale agreements, licence agreements, service agreements, and letters of intent.
