The Fall 2019 Zone 5 meeting will take place on Thursday October 24, 2019 at the Bayview Wildwood Resort (1500 Port Stanton Pkwy, Severn Bridge, Ontario, P0E 1N0).

Agenda items for the Zone 5 meeting include updates from AMCTO and MMAH, a legal update, an inspiring session with Rob Adams, CAO from Whitchurch-Stouffville, and a new round table session that will hopefully give everyone some new perspectives or best practices/policies on topics of concern in your municipality!
 
After the Zone 5 meeting, the Zone Executive will host a Paint Nite at Bayview Wildwood for those staying over for Friday’s session! The Paint Nite at the Spring meeting was great fun, and we look forward to painting another masterpiece!   
 
On Friday, October 25^th, Zone 5 will host a full day workshop with Doug Heidebrecht, from www.managingme.com. Doug engages with high energy, real world expertise, and practical take-aways on how you and your team can Grow, Succeed and Stay Energized.
 
Doug’s workshop will include a focus on priority mapping and daily/weekly planning, mastering the mental game for higher engagement, increased resilience and better mental focus, resisting the noise (staying focused), and mastering the details! Doug’s workshops involve an engaging mix of group discussions, reflection exercises, pairs coaching and sometimes games. And they always wrap up with “Now what? What are you going to do differently, or more consistently, in the next 30 days?”
