I agree. Plus using the BCC option makes it a lot easier to print the email.

Looking to have a Municipal/Community Profile prepared and was hoping to obtain a Request for Proposal (RFP) sample by someone that had recently done the same. T.Y.

Forwarding this message on from a member:
I wanted to share with you an issue that my municipality’s IT Staff have raised with me. We’ve received a few very realistic looking emails recently with a “request.doc” attachment to them. . We are frequently getting emails from municipalities that are including all municipalities’ email addresses in the “TO” field which, our IT staff feel is how these bogus, harmful emails are getting created with such realistic content. They warn that, potentially, emails like this, with ransomware or malicious attachments could compromise the computer networks of a great number of municipalities in the Province. They feel it’s a serious threat. While this seems like an IT issue, it seems to be coming out of Clerk’s offices across the Province because they are sending out these bulk emails with resolutions, etc. It would be helpful if AMCTO could notify its members about this problem and our best practice recommendation that any such future bulk municipal e-mails utilize the “Blind Copy”, rather than “To” address option.

Has anyone had any luck with transferring road widening strips that look like they were intended to be transferred to a municipality but never were and now the owner is deceased? We've got a few of these at the moment and we're struggling. Land Registry Office has been less than helpful.
