The Justices of the Peace Appointment Advisory Committee at the request of the Attorney General has made a call for applications for 44 Justices of the Peace positions. There are a number of vacancies across Ontario.

Justices of the Peace are critical to the efficient functioning of Ontario courts, with jurisdiction over the majority of provincial regulatory offences, municipal bylaw prosecutions and most bail hearings.
