The Ontario government has announced its 2023 funding allocations under the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF). The government is maintaining the program envelope at $500 million, where it has been since 2020.

AMCTO continues to advocate for stable and predictable funding sources to assist municipalities with delivering local programs and services. While we are grateful that the province has not reduced the envelope for the OMPF, it is important that funding sources keep pace with inflationary and other consequential costs to municipalities.
