During his remarks to the Empire Club on Thursday November 25^th, Minister Clark announced that he and Premier Ford will host a provincial-municipal housing summit for Ontario’s Big City Mayors and Regional Chairs.

The summit, taking place on December 16^th, will aim to identify further opportunities for collaboration as the province and municipalities continue to address the housing affordability crisis.

Leading up to the ROMA Conference, Minister Clark will also host a session with Ontario’s rural municipalities in January with ROMA members to discuss the issue of housing affordability and the unique challenges and opportunities they face.
