You may recall that back in September 2022 the Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC) of Ontario issued a Transparency Challenge looking for innovative projects or programs in the areas of transparency and open government in public institutions.

Now, the IPC has launched its Transparency Showcase to share curated submissions more widely. The showcase includes six projects from municipalities out of 17 total:

• City of Barrie
• City of Brampton
• City of Guelph
• City of Toronto
• Town of Ajax
• Town of Whitby
