On Tuesday, AMCTO President Angela Morgan sat down with the Honourable Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Steve Clark and both of his Parliamentary Assistants Christine Hogarth and Jim McDonell.

President Morgan reiterated several key AMCTO priorities for the Minister including a renewed focus on Fixing the Voter’s List and discussing in more detail the association’s role in facilitating engagement around the upcoming Regional Government Review. Additionally, AMCTO expressed its appreciation to the Minister and his team on their commitment toward reducing the reporting burden faced by local government staff across Ontario. 

AMCTO is pleased to build this relationship with the Minister and looks forward to working with the new government on a range of policy files that are important to local government professionals.
