MPPs return to Queen's Park today for the spring sitting of the Ontario legislature. The legislature is expected to consider a range of legislature, including:

• An overhaul of the Municipal Elections Act (adding the option of ranked ballots for municipalities)
• A modernization of the Police Services Act (though this may not be until the fall)
• A PTSD bill for first responders

An addition, MPPs will also take up a number of of pieces of legislation that were previously introduced, including:

• Bill 100, the Supporting Ontario's Trails Act
• Bill 119, the Health Information Protection Act
• Bill 132, the Sexual Violence and Harassment Action Plan Act
• Bill 135, the Energy Statute Law Amendment Act
• Bill 151, the Waste-Free Ontario Act
• Bill 155, the Mining Amendment Act
• Bill 156, the Alternative Financial Services Statute Law Amendment Act
