Government Expands the Hours of Sale and Service of Alcohol in Airports

The Ontario government has amended Regulation 719 (Licenses to Sell Liquor) under the Liquor License Act (LLA) to allow the sale and service of liquor at certain airports in Ontario for 24 hours a day and seven days a week. This change will be effective December 12th, 2019 and will only apply to establishments with liquor licenses in the post security areas of airports.

Prior to this, such liquor licenses establishments were permitted to sell alcohol between 9am and 2am.
