Ontario's Attorney General has appointed Ontario Justice Eileen Gillese to lead an independent public inquiry into the oversight of long-term care homes in Ontario. Specifically, Justice Gillese has been tasked with reviewing whether or not systemic issues have contributed to compromised safety of residents.
