The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has updated the Lottery Licensing Policy Manual (LLPM) to provide greater flexibility for charities and ease the administrative burden.
The changes to the Manual that are of note to local governments are the elimination of quarterly report submissions for the charitable licenses they issue. Changes have also been made to the Registrar’s Standards, raffle and bazaar licensing terms and conditions, and the raffle application.
The LLPM is a resource guide intended to assist licensing authorities in making consistent decisions in the realm of issuing lottery licenses.
